Angels Invest in BowTie; Bowtie Wins $30k

Albuquerque’s Seed Worthy (and their product Bowtie) and the New Mexico Angels have closed on a $150,000 investment.

BowTie’s proprietary software simplifies hosting and development of complex software for developers. It’s ability to launch complex programming systems saves developers time and energy, while allowing them to get instant market evaluations and feedback. The funding dollars will be used to further develop the company in preparation for their formal launch. More developers will be hired and money will also be used to help get more customers through the platform.

“We are excited to see such strong market and investor validation of our launch platform. BowTie will be unleashing the creativity of developers the world over,” Seed Worthy’s CEO Scott Maloney told Albuquerque Business First.  “The world of 50 million-plus developers are clamoring for this, and with this funding close we will see the launch and growth of our platform globally.”

After receiving Angel funding, the company presented to TVC’s Deal Stream Summit. During the event they were awarded $30K for having the “Most Fundable Pitch” at the event. Read the full story:
