NM Angels Defy National Trend of Shrinking Funding

Chavez Keynote Speaker at STC Awards

STC.UNM hosted their 10th Annual Innovation Awards with NMA’s John Chavez as their Keynote Speaker. The awards were given to 45 University of New Mexico inventors and creators for their 2012 issued patents, registered copyrights and issued trademarks. Additionally, the 2013 Innovation Fellow was awarded to Graham Timmins.   This years honorees also included Majeed Hayat and Payman Zarkesh-Ha, the founders of Dynamic Photonics, a New Mexico Start-Up Factory company.
