EcoPesticides Closes Series A Round ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–EcoPesticides International, a New Mexico-based startup company developing “green” biologic pesticides with proprietary, performance-enhancing encapsulation technology, has announced the completion of its $400,000 Series A Round of funding. As part of its initial investment round, EcoPesticides secured funding from the New Mexico Startup Factory, an affiliate of the New Mexico Angels; the New Mexico Angels; the University of New Mexico Co-Investment Fund; and a private venture firm based in Nevada. NMBF: Aqua Access ships first wave of orders

NM Start-Up Factory’s EPI Gets Funded

EcoPesticides International received $89,000 from the University of New Mexico’s Co-Investment Fund. The new funds,  increase the company’s total to $400,000 raised. The co-investment fund also triggered a $50,000 investment from a new investor. “We’re making good use, and we have a lab in Santa Fe,” John Chavez said. “That triggered more runway, too.
